Fatshion: Gingham Dress

Hi babes! I’m having a lazy Saturday but by the time you read this, it will be Sunday. I’m working on a blog post all day on Sunday for a really exciting Mexican recipe. I will share it with you next month though. I know you’re going to love it. In the meantime, today I just bought ingredients for the recipe and now I’m writing this post. My Caturday has been chill, which is nice because it’s really hot in SoCal today. I’m watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King today because I have this weird obsessive compulsive thing where I have to watch the  ...

Fatshion: Pink Floral Maxi Dress

Hi friends! How is your week going? My week was mellow but good. I’m making some changes to my class schedule so I have more free time on my hands now.  I wore this outfit last week to have dinner with my best friend and to hang out with a partner after. I love it! The dress is vintage and I got it at a thrift store for $1.50 and it fits perfectly. I love when you find that perfect score at a thrift store, it’s on sale, and it fits. Who could ask for more, really? Speaking of my best friend – we went out for dinner tonight too after buying my maid of honor dress for her  ...

Fatshion: Black Floral Midi Dress

This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links. Hi friends! Happy full moon in Scorpio. What are you releasing? I am trying to release some of my depression, listlessness, and non-motivation. I want to shed that and become a more motivated and spiritually active person. As I get older (I’ll be 35 in a few months!), I am becoming more at peace with myself, who I am and who I want to be. I’m learning to not beat myself up so much and am trying to learn how to embrace my achievements. That’s a tough one for me  ...

Fatshion: Little Black Dress

This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links. Hi friends! How are you all doing this week? My life changed big time in the last few weeks but I’ll tell you more about that in a bit. I wore this outfit to the Claremont Zine Fest and then afterwards, to dinner with my dear femme friend Jo (who took these photos). The zine fest was a lot of fun. I really enjoy “smaller” zine fests because they feel more communal and you get more of a chance to connect with the people buying your zines. I sold a lot, saw some  ...

I know it’s been a MINUTE since I posted but I wanted to share these outfit photos that Linda Nuves from the Los Angeles chapter of the Chulita Vinyl Club took of me at We All Grow Summit in Long Beach! I love the way they came out and I love the outfit so I hope you do too! If you’re a blogger or influencer and haven’t been to the We All Grow Summit, I highly recommend you invest in it. It’s an amazing conference – you are surrounded by  ...

Ring In the New Year with Zenni Style

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Zenni Optical. All opinions are 100% mine. Hello friends! Happy New Year! What are your resolutions for the new year? One of mine is to upgrade my vision choices with some new fashionable glasses from Zenni Optical. I’ve been a huge fan of Zenni for years and have bought many pairs of glasses from them! I love the new styles they are coming out with lately. They are affordable and fit seamlessly into my wardrobe. As someone who’s into style and fashion, this is important to me. Who wouldn’t want to extend their fashion through their  ...

Fatshion: Pink and Blue

Hi babes! It’s been a minute since I’ve done an outfit post, que no? I have a cute but simple one for you today. This is one of my favorite dresses ever – mostly because I love pink and blue together. Can you tell? I’m always going back and forth between pink and blue with my hair (and using purple as an in-between color). But so this dress, it’s super easy to wear, is perfect for summer, has the cutest skirt, and I got it at a thrift store. Woo! I’ve been doing really well lately. I had an issue with one of my medications recently – basically my  ...

Fatshion: Always on Time with My JORD Watch

Disclosure: I received a watch from JORD for review. All opinions are my own. Hi babes! I have a really cool wooden watch from JORD to share with you today but first let me explain why I need it to begin with. I mean, yes it looks amazing and matches my natural femme aesthetic but I’m also chronically late. I always joke around and tell the people in my life that I’m late to life but it’s true. I have this theory (which probably doesn’t hold up to science) that you naturally wake up around the time you were born. I was born around 11:30am and so by my theory, I  ...

Fatshion: Long Beach Looks

Hey babes! Here’s another outfit I wore for the We All Grow Summit in beautiful Long Beach. You can see the harbor in the background. That bridge to the left glows in rainbow colors at night. It’s beautiful! I’m wearing one of my favorite vintage dresses – when I first thrifted it, it was WAY too long, like all vintage dresses on me so I got it hemmed and now it’s perfect. I love the buttons and the collar and the print so much! I kept the look simple with some black tights and teal flats and it was perfect for a day at the conference. I got so many  ...

Fatshion: Pink Hair and Pink Walls

Hi friends! I’ve sat on these photos since February! I love them all so much but I’ve struggled with what to write about it. I already told you about the wonderful day I had during the We All Grow field trip and that’s where I wore this outfit. In fact, this photo was taken inside the garden of the Museum of Latin American Art. I love how much my hair matches that beautiful pink wall! It was a match made in heaven. I taught myself how to wire wrap jewelry using some YouTube videos. It was easier than I expected and I already had all the supplies at home. I’ve made  ...
